Why now?

"Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans," John Lennon once said.

My name is Tay and I'm teetering on the brink of 32 as we approach 2022 and I am not where I thought I would be right now. Have you ever just looked at yourself in the mirror and wondered how you got to where you are? I thought I'd have met my forever person and be living in a home together. Considering having my first child within the next few years. I definitely thought I'd be more established in my career. And I thought all of that would make me blissfully content.

The reality: I am trying to find my passion in life. I still rent (no shame in the renting game, it's just not where I thought I'd be). I'm still figuring the whole forever person thing out. Even though I just moved in August, I may have to move again in January or July (boo!). Yeah, this is not how I envisioned my early 30s looking.

So what next? That's where this community comes in. I feel so out of touch with myself and what I should do next. I have always been drawn to the ethereal things in life; things others might call "woo-woo". With this community and this site, we'll be exploring a variety of spiritual, new-age topics. Topics that I hope will help me feel more aligned with my path in life.

We all know life isn't all sugar, spice and everything nice. I'm hopeful that by adding a little more spirituality to mine and exploring related curiosities, life can feel a little better. It feels like it's finally time to get in touch with this side of my self. I hope some of you will join me and share your spiritual journeys as well.
